American spec water hoses ?

Hi I've just bought a Westfalia T25 camper thats been imported from America, its got a 2.1 watercooled engine and the problem I'm having is that some of the hoses are different to the U.K spec hoses.

One hose in particular needs changing its a short "S" shaped hose that joins to the expansion tank, the van used to be a 1900 petrol so I'm not sure how "standard" the fixtures and fittings were kept when it was changed.

Its going in for a service on Friday and the mechanic has said he'll take the hose off clean it up and look for a part number. BUT!! if he doesn't find a part number what are my options ?

I've just had a thought I'll go and take a pic :) and I can show you then :rolleyes:

Right here's the pic :) with the red arrow pointing to the hose in question :) does it look like a standard American spec set up ? and if so where can I order a hose from :)

It looks identical to ours, so Yes, it looks like the 2.1Litre MV engine.

and if so where can I order a hose from

I would have though that a VW agent should be able to order this hose up for you. If not, we could also find ourselves in trouble too when it comes time to replace this hose.
