Adrian Flux or Herts Insurance (HIC) target the camper market, best to get a current VW magazine and ring around the advertisers.

Valuation? A mint early Devon T25? £3 to 4k?

You can pay and get a recognised valuation on any type/model VW ( required for insurance agreed value) From Karmann Konnection. Not sure of cost, but they do have to actually see the van.
Some approved VW club's can do the same thing, I know the Splitscreen Van Club value splits, Sorry I can't really help with T25 clubs though! :D :)

The Type 2 Owners club do it as well, I think they offer the service for members at big shows, such as Vanfest.

No lowered buses, though, apparently.

I used HIC for my T25 and they were very good, however when I tried to insure my new van with them I found they no longer insure any Sheffield post codes?! I now use C.I.S who were well priced and give the added advantage of insuring you in most EU countries for the whole year, not just 90 days etc - so if you want to go off for a big travel they are the ones to use
