Can anyone recommend a breakdown organisation that will cover our '72 camper? It seems she's 9 years too old for anyone to have the pleasure on rescuing her - should she need it!

We are with RAC and when I rang them to check the camper was covered under our personal breakdown they said yes as long as it was within the size limit (which a VW is). They didnt mention anything about age. Have you tried them?

Also, AA and RAC cover the person and not the vehicle so is that a way to get around it?

Good luck

Hello,
I got breakdown cover included with my insurance from Footman James. Not much use to you now if yours isn't due for renewal, I know, but could be an option in future if you're struggling.
Cheers
Ben
