Have used one for a couple of years.....not the tunnel version but the conventional shape. Got caught in some strange 90mph storms in France last year and the awning did not move, even though many caravan awnings next to us were destroyed. What more can I say....except that it is easy to put up, and overall I reckon it is better than the last one that I had. :) Cheap too at £199

Just bought the tunnel type which we used this weekend for thr 1st time. Unfortunately the socket for the internal support pole was sewed up the wrong way which meant it wouldnt sit correctly. We dropped into Justkampers on our way home and they swapped it without any fuss. Apart from that its top quality with loads of room and kept the weather out. My advice is to check it before you go so you dont discover these things on top of a hill in the poring rain in the dark as we did!!

Thanks

Will be getting one of the tunnel types in a couple of weeks.

Wont need to worry about rain much over here but it will be used to keep the sun off.

just my honest opinion but modern tunnel awnings look bad enough lashed to the sides of T25s... assuming you've got a 57 kombi from your username (bless our education system) wouldn't you be better off with something a little more 'period' ?

westy awnings rule (in a ramshackle, windswept way) and look great attached to splitties, or if you're just looking for shelter from the sun (wasn't venus shelter enough  ) there's a sun canopy you can get which fits over the two side doors, making a sort of tent thing. really neat.

sound confusing ? get yourself over to ebay ;)

mike.

disclaimer *not intended as a negative post, i just think the old and modern styles jar somewhat*
