For sale in Sheffield is our 1983 T25 water cooled 1.9 petrol campervan called Bert.

It is a retro looking van in the original beige and brown colours, it has been extremely well looked after and much loved!. This is a reluctant sale as we have put a lot of our time and money into this van but as we have just bought our first house we need to pay off our kitchen and have no choice! The van is a great runner and has never had any problems on our camping/surfing trips down to Newquay. We bought this van as a Caravelle and have converted it into a camper/ day van for our trips, the two seats at the front are originals complete with arm rests and I can say that this is the comfiest vehicle I have ever driven! We can include the water proof seat covers that we bought just a couple of months ago and all the bed linen as it matches the interior, also we have a 12v to 240V inverter so that you can plug your fridge or laptop etc in. We have converted this van to be really spacious so that we could fit our 9 foot longboards in! and my girlfriends paintings which are 2 meters long! so there is plenty of room for traveling and kit etc.

My girlfriend and I have owned this van for just over a year and in that time have done considerable work to it including;

* Replacement engine last year with only 35,000 miles on it (5000 by us this year).
* Refitted interior including replacement interior panels and door cards with new covering, a full width seat/bed and waterproof vinyl ***le flooring.
* Full years MOT, 5 months tax
* Just had a new German quality exhaust fitted (2 months ago)
* New front suspension springs
* Serious service last month (including fuel filter, all vacuum hoses, new distributor cap, rotor arm, ht leads, new breather hose, oil and air filters, oil change)
* Complete Top half re-spray (interior as well) in original colour with ALL new window rubbers fitted to keep it nice and water tight. Bottom half was only re-sprayed the year before we got the van.

There are a couple of bits left that we haven't had time to do which would really make the van something special, these include: window scraper replacements (aprox £20 each from just kampers), there is a little amount of surface rust on the hubcaps so they will probably need replacing in the next year, the interior carpet around the seat bases is original but probably needs a good steam clean or even replacing. As you can see the above tweaks are non essential (hence us not getting round to them!)

I would recommend that anyone interested in this van should come and have a look/ride as it is well worth seeing. If you would like a copy of higher resolution images or images of any other areas of the van then please contact me and I will send them to you.

We are looking for £3495 ono. If interested please call Paul on 07793712845 or Shelley on 07989308076
