Hi ,
I have an LT 35 Campervan which I will be taking across Europe in August on holidays. I'm going through pre-trip checks and I notice that the spare wheel is in a bad way. The thread of same has never been on the road but the sidewalls are ruined (seriously indented) by the wire cage used to secure the wheel to the underbody. Maybe the cage was tightened too much - I don't think so though - but I can't see any other way of securing the wheel tightly. Bearing in mind that stowing the spare "indoors" or on the roof are not options, has anyone got any suggestions for a less destructive alternative?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks
