I hope someone can help. Just getting this van renovated and trying to get a replacement canvas for pop top roof. Problems all round getting westfalia ones to fit, have been told that it is not westfalia roof. Tried looking in various books but cannot see exact same type. If not does anyone know of a good tent maker in london area since this is probably our only other option to get canvas sorted. thanks.

or you could try a sail maker.

What kind of roof is it? Does it go straight up or is it side hinged?

You need to host your pictures on-line and then copy them from there.

Open a free Photobucket account (http://www.photobucket.com) and upload your piccies to it.
Once you have done that you see 4 lines of code under each picture. Copy <Ctrl-C> the bottom line and then paste it <Ctrl-V> into your message on here.

I have just posted photos of the roof so you can see it is rear-hinged. It is the front of the roof that is slightly different.

Will look into sail maker if all else fails.

Thanks

I've never seen a Westy roof like that, but that doesn't mean it isn't one.

Try posting on the Just Kampers forums as a lot more people use them and you are more likely to get a response.

A good motor trimmer or canvas works should be able to that.

It looks very much like a westy roof (late Bay). However, the front of it has been modified to have a "front" to it (if that makes sense!). The full Westy roofs had a roof rack bit in front above the cab area. Yours doesn't have this......

I think this roof is the same as Mushy from JK has on his Bus.
