Hi
I have a 1983 T25 Camper (Viking conversion I think?) and have a query regarding the heater. I have a floor heater in the back of the van and have no idea how it works?. I have looked all across the internet trying to find the make/model or any info on the unit I have, but found nothing?

It has a metal grill on top and underneath that a metal plate (that reads `Riviera` and also `Please remove before lighting`). Underneath this metal plate is the heater itself.
SO, if anyone knows what heater it might be that would be great. And even better if anyone knows what fuel it takes, how it works, and any more info on it that would be fantastic!

kind regards to all you VW lovers!! :)

I have a stand alone Riviera gas heater that runs on Butane gas. I just light it with a match/lighter and away it goes. I would think an installed heater would have some type of ignitor, but maybe not?

Hi thanks
Yes it does have an igniter. So you think my heater runs on butane then?
cheers

Either butane or propane, Id imagine.
