carb problem - please help

Can someone please tell me how to stop petrol from carb going straight through to manifold. Changed electronic valve cut off and valve above float chamber but still does it. thanks

I'm having a terrible stench of petrol coming in the the cab whilst I'm driving... is this the same problem do you think? :cool:

The float in the carb may be perforated or it needs resetting ie the mounting angle checked to make sure when the float is at its upper limit it closes the valve.

The strong smell of petrol may be caused by one of the petrol tank breather pipes being adrift.....the rubber bends have a knack of perishing with age likewise the tank filler pipe.
