Hi, we have just bought a Bay Window 1973 at the Vanfest this year. :D It has the original front seats in it and they are not mega comfortable. Is there any more comfortable seats anyone can recommend that are easy to fit and on the same runners please. Appreciate any help :)

Whatever you retro fit you'll have to custom mount on the runners from the donor vehicle. Most passenger sides on Type 2's dont even have runners, just clips.

Just bolt or weld the runners in place and away you go.

However, the geometry will rarely be any good, and you'll end up with your head on the van roof, or unable to reach the pedals. I had one once that I could hardly get my legs between the steering wheel and seat in.

My preference is good stock seats, but try some out from a scrappy and see how you go.
