I am after a Bay camper, however I am bit confused by which conversion is the best. I know the Westy is the offical one, and I am familiar with the dormobile, as my dad used to have one.
Any advice, as to what models and which years are best. I also understand they made some 2 litre ones too around '79 too.
I currently have a '71 Karmann Ghia Coupe, which I am happy to swap for a van, due to kids. Ideally I'd want a decent, sound van that sleeps four, and has the interior in good condition too.
ANy offers. The Karmann is worth about £4k, is in good condtion and is an excellent starter and runner.
