importing from the US

Hi all,

I'm considering buying a splitscreen bus and importing from the US is something I'm thinking about. Apart from the actual shipping costs which I'm looking into, I believe I would have to mot and register the bus when I got it here but can anybody help with import duties/taxes etc?

Also, has anybody done this and if so what was the entire cost of bringing it over not including the purchase price?

Any other major drawbacks or anything I would have to think about in bringing a LHD bus over to the UK?
