Help with RnR boards

Hi Peeps

I've got the RnR fitted into Rita, but my question is:

'Do i screw the boards from the front into the frame, or through the frame into the boards?'

Id go in from the board side, then it would be 'flush' only exposing the screw head or bolt head, thus preventing 'snagging'

thats what I thought but with there being no pics with the BlueBird instructions I thought I'd better ask first :D
