replacing front beam

Hi - i have a front beam issue... too much rust not enough metal apparently!

Is there a guide to replacing the beam? or any advice on what to look out for?
I have some mechanical experience but very new to campers

or replace if you'd prefer.

It just a case of undoing everything you can see, and then prising it out of the chassis. 1968 beams are different, but the rest are all the same. Of course getting as complete a replacement second hand as possible with the same brake set up as you have will make life easier.
