in my endless quest for the perfect instant noodle snack, i came across a weird one yesterday... t*ger t*ger cup noodles (unleash the taste) which actually contain a folding, 'travel toothbrush' style plastic fork

nice idea, but if i was ever stranded in a fork-less place whilst needing noodle nourishment, chances are i'd also be short of a tap, and a kettle for that matter ? stupidly, i rushed in and assembled the fork, but the central strengthening spline sheared under the weight of a mere half-forkful, rendering me fork-less, and wishing i'd kept the damn thing NOS

why mention this on a vw forum ? it just reminded me of all the "what, the whole weight of a fully loaded camper ? on one stud ? in shear ?" hysteria :p

That'll serve you right for messing with new fangled contraptions.

Spoons, forks and knives are available new and second hand, quite readily I beleive. I suggest you purchase such, to save future scenarios occurring.

A quick search on Google, should throw up potentail supppliers of cutlery, or try e-bay?
