We're in the process of buying a Type 2 bay, Devon conversion. Very excited! The interior is not really up to scratch (not very well home-made, pretty ancient). Not sure whether to build a new interior ourselves, or have it done professionally, or buy an old interior and fit it into our bus. Any suggestions or advice from people in the know would be much appreciated.
Depends how skilled you are and how much dosh you can afford.
Home made interiors often look lashed up and rubbish, imo. But if you know what youre doing could be good.
Pro-fitted interiors will set you back around £1500 upwards.
Second hand interiors vary dependant on condition, but expect to pay upwards of £200 for anything near complete/decent from a private seller.
Good luck

refurbishing is a good route as it keps some sense of originality
but there are some excellent interiors..Mike howles interior (we did it as a HOW TO) is very practical for example and looks good too!
