i realise that every van will differ in soundness and quality but can anyone out there offer any advice?
firstly, which are the most reliable type 2s? the 1.6ltr or 2ltr?
secondly, what sort of figure would someone give as an average for maintenance costs on an average type 2? i know different things going wrong cost different but somebody must be able to hazard a guess...
if i was to buy a fairly solid and sound 2ltr type 2 with no apparent problems would i be looking at £500, £1000, £1500 a year maintenance? i will be using it daily...
and would this differ for 1.6ltr?
