Super Vikings

I have recntly bought a 79 super viking. I was planning to take it to shows but i am not sure if they are well liked in the show "scene"? i am also looking at buying an Empi low mount exhaust i was wondering if anyone could suggest any other decent modifications i can make that aren't over the top or stupid? The driver's seat has a tear in it and the passengers also i was wondering if anyone knew a company that sells seat covers

Thanx a lot

Vikings are uncomon but awesome things...so much space! Take it to Bus Types and you'll find seat covers and goodiesw galore for your bus and see what people do
and meet other Viking owners!

I would lower it a little but use adjustable springplates on the rear not just nock it down a spline. I liked the red9 design stuff esp for these parts and the kit they used to offer for the front (coil over conversion). also i would look at the gear select and get a nice shifter with reverse lock out. I would not reccomend the empi version as i had all sorts of well with mine! Most of all i would enjoy my van and all that space you have! just think what you could do up there . . . . . . . yoga perhaps!

Hi from Adelaide, Australia
i have just adopted a slightly neglected Kombi last week and am in search of some of her history. It appears to be a super viking top on a t25 1980 2l carby. Do you know of any links to viking gear, or other owners. I am missing some of the roof lifting struts and am wondering how to re assemble it.
Thanks for any help.
Regards
Tony
