Hello and yes this is my first log

I am looking to buy my first camper and am very interested in a particular vehicle that sounds up my street

I was just wondering if anybody has had any dealings with Volkspares engines

The said vehicle has got a Volkspares 1776 engine and has done 2000 miles on it

Any views on this matter whether pro or con would be much appreciated

And by the way I have £8000 burning a hole if anybody has my dream camper that is ready for camping this summer

Thank you

phil

OK i don't have massive knowledge on this. My bay has a 1600cc volkspares green twin port engin. When fitting a new zorst mechanic was heard to say Oh a volkspares engine what a surprise the exauhst studs are stripped! said with some irony!

My lump has done ok not sat to work out how many miles before big end started sounding its death knell yet ill let you know.

Remtec seem to be the best of the best from what ive seen others post, I myself have the horn for a scat 0mile brand spanking new turnkey motor i saw an advert for but this is just me and i have heard nothing about them it just sounded so good in the advert!

I think if the engine has been looked after has not been thrashed or lugged abd has been serviced well it should give good service but how many miles has it done?

Dont just take my word look for more replies on here and have a look at some other forums volkszone is very busy and nearly as good as here!
