I have a Westfalia towbar for sale - but I don't know what it's worth. Came off my '67 Splitscreen over a decade ago and i've just rediscovered it in the junk pile I've been so proud off all these years. Also found a '70s Beetle one too if anyone's interested. Plus I've a couple of 2 litre heat exchangers in average condition - the flat top style that bolts to the head. £40 for the pair of heat exchangers. Any offers on the towbars? Westfalia towbar has the original Westfalia plate on it - have a picture if anyone's serious.
I suppose whilst I'm here I might as well tell you about some other VW stuff that's up for sale at Chez Pat's
Type 3 front axle - less discs and callipers. Believed low mileage - good bearings, joints, steel - £50.
Twin carb Type 3 1600 twin-port - complete except air-filter. Would fit early/late Type2 (once tinware removed) - has the rear support-bar holes in the case. Bought as a runner but never used - £120
Type 3 bumpers - late model - pair £20
Type 3 exhaust - 4 into 1 - useable - £5
Type 1, 2, 3 carbs - £5
Now, back to that Westy towbar. What's it worth?
