monty needs a new engine

Hi,

I've a 69' Bay called Monty. Took him 2 Woolacombe last weekend and on the way back he had a mojor hot flush, witch seized the engine :mad: . im thinking about fitting something differnt like a subaru or porsche lump. What do u think? is there anyone who has done this?

Might want to check the volkszone forum few guys on there have done the subaru thing try this thread ... VZ (http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?threadid=103202&highlight=tsr) ... TSR (http://www.tsrdragracers.co.uk/index2.html) do these type of conversions.

Dont know about porsche though john maher or statesides might be able to help there, alternatively you could give someone like laurie pet.t.ite a call he can build engines to your requirements ...

air-cooled is the only way to go
