I have a 1972 on a K, Crossover model Bay Window, Dormobile 4/8 conversion (very rare conversion apparently) for sale as a complete restoration project.

I have all the parts needed to completely restore the vehicle and lots of spares new and reconditioned. The parts on there own total £2k. The vehicle it self is 1 previous owner before me. Documents and history for all 130,000 odd miles. Very solid chassis only needed a tiny patch of welding for last MOT which expires Oct 2005.

All original, needs interior tidying and new doors and a couple of panels replacing (which are in with the parts), and a repray.

Vehicle drives and runs superb. Has a brand new quiet pack exhaust.

Vehicle seats 8 as a mini bus/day van but sleeps 4 adults (two in a 3/4 width size bed and two bunks in roof one of which has missing material) and has the bunk across the cabin for 2 kids in camping mode.

Please break my heart and put in the hard work I am unable too to create a fantastic & rare camper.

£4,800 for the lot.

Email me on bugman@orange.net for more info and pictures.

Looks like I am going to have to find a barn and restore it myself along with the other projects I have on the go at the moment!!!

Oh well worth a try!

No room to store it and the beetle is behind schedule so missus is on me back.

New price £4000 ono for the lot. (this includes all new parts needed and lots of spares and new parts not required!)

Might even consider selling van with out the parts.

No welding hould be needed underneath as it is really solid. Its only where panels would need to be replaced if you where to restore it or make it perfect!
