Best place to find a recon engine for a t25

I've just been told that our 1986 T25 needs a new engine :(

Does anyone know good places to look for good, reliable and preferrably not too expensive reconditioned engines?

Have a friendly mechanic on hand to help with the fitting, and making sure I don't pick a dud.

Any recommendations gratefully recieved :)

Think wisely about your choice of recon.

It's true,You get what you pay for!!!!!

Last thing you want is to rip the engine out again due to poor workmanship.

My advice is either VEGE or REMTEC, never used the later but have heard promising comments.

I have heard bad reports about plenty of other so called reconditioned crap thats out there!!!!!!

My advise, for what it's worth, GO VEGE!!!!!
