Lots of mouth watering sweeties grace our pages this month.  The Orange-mobile, a 1975 US Campmobile epitomises stock originality, check out that orange plaid upholstery! A fully restored Dove Blue ’57 Kombi also oozes with original features, married to the best in custom styling and stance. The fully original condition prize this month however goes to a beautifully presented 1990 T3 California.  Then we have three very different but equally stunning interiors – a 2002 long nose conversion T4 with leather upholstery and flocked door cards and dash, and 66 Split and 73 Bay with two very different layouts and hand crafted wood  interiors created by All Things Timber, who create some of the best wood interiors and one off designs on the scene.

This issue we start a three part Travel series as a couple of long time T3 enthusiasts head to the Antipodes to explore New Zealand. Wanting “an adventure before dementia” they land in Christchurch and head off on winding, mountainous back roads in a hired high roof T3 Camper. Travelling back in time to 1956 we relive the adventures of 50 year old Milli Bau on the Silk Road. Closer to home, we go Pottering in Purbeck with a Bay on its first proper camping outing. And we also take in four very different shows to remind you of what lies ahead – Volksfling in Scotland, the Kent VW Festival, the Harewood House VW Festival in Leeds and a new event that took place at the Museum of Power in Essex.
